Whew, haven't written here in a looong time. No, it's not beacuse I hate you people out there, don't worry. It's because I've had exams and I had to study.
So, exams are finally over. Hopefully, I can finally get to watch those movies I've been wanting to watch. Just went to ACE this morning to try out the training there. Very, very tiring. I'm just so happy I made it through and didn't lose out to the rest of the guys.
Finished playing BG2 and JK2. Finally! BG2 was fun and all, but after a while ,the enemiesreally got too easy. Morag was kind of a disappointment, must be all those timestops I used... Hee hee. JK2 really got frustrating after a while though. It was near impossible without a walkthrough of some sort. Especially when it was some small vent you were supposed to go through or jump out of the window onto a platform nearby.
My exams were okay. The only two papers I had trouble with were a-math 1 and chinese. Other than that, the rest were quite easy. Biology was quite good. Except for the second or third last question which asked to for methods to improve water uptake by the plant to compensate for water loss. I was kinda at a loss. 5 marks, so I had to give 5 different points. Most of my friends, as I found out later, didn't answer the question, but cited a lot of stuff from the book. Have no idea how that would work out, but I had 4 legit points and I was missing one. Sooo... I had no choice, I barely had any time and had to desprately come up with one more answer. What'd I put? Talk to the plant! American research in the past have shown on various occasions that plants respond the encouragement from their owners... Sigh. Oh well, maybe the teacher's will laugh enough to award me for ingenuity.
Went to play magic with my friends yesterday after school. Quite a money making experience... I brought some of them over for a while to look at my cards and made quite a bit. We also played a draft game with Yee Kiat's sapre cards. That's where everyone there take 15 cards, selects one and passes the rest. Then, when everyone has selected 15 cards, you take another 15, until everyone has 45 cards. Lands are distributed and a 40 card deck is made. Won three out of five games. Yay! Haven't quite lost my touch yet. :)
Also, got my bro's old digital camera, while he got a new one. And his old com, since he's also getting a new one.
Oh and I finally got to see a grasshopper up close the other day. As in really up close, on the windscreen of the car. Really interesting to see one up close. Very enlightening experience.
Meanwhile, 1 more quiz.
