Ugh! Failed Chinese by ONE MARK!!!!! AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! Darn it, now I have to go back to school everyday for the whole of this week, and I had to study for the whole of last week... 3h 45 min. a day! Geez! At least the teachers are different every lesson, so no grouchy teachers! Hee! Hee! :)
Watched a couple of movies in the past few weeks, MIB 2, Austin Powers 3, 8 Women, Monsoon Wedding and Mr. Deeds.
MIB 2 was okay, not fantastic, not like the first movie, and a lot shorter too. Austin Powers 3 was funny, but the dad-son issue was cheesy, they really should not have had that, and even worse were some of the lame jokes cracked by austin's dad, Nigel Powers. Goldmember was postively weird, but then, I don't know many swedish or it may be related to something, I have no idea. Although the movie had many hilarious points. Such as the parodying of the subtitles, when they are impossible to see because of the white parts in the screen.
8 Women was pretty good, the ending was... unique, actually, I quite liked it for being so different. Acting was pretty good too. The songs were nice except they were kinda obviously other songs with different lyrics. It was also somewhat funny. The neurotic aunt was freaky, real freaky. But still, an overall good movie.
Monsoon Wedding was fantastic and possibly the best movie within the lot. The music was good and the movie was quite funny, the movie was quite straight forward, although it was quite different from all other Indian movies I've seen (Which would be Lagaan and some other snatches of parts of movies on Central, so I haven't been a loyal fan, but I try...) Many of the songs made me feel like getting up and dancing crazily. :)
Mr. Deeds was a sad movie. Nothing like Adam Sandler's first few movies or his last few even. I think he's just going downhill. I know Wedding singer was quite good, Big Daddy was okay and Little Nicky was quite horrible. This one wasn't so bad, the jokes cracked were okay, but the Love Subplot was horrendous and the jokes weren't all that good. Adam Sandler wasn't even the funniest charcter anymore, that place would go to Emilio(?), Sandler's Butler.
Other than movies, I finally moved back to my old house today. Huge compared to the old one. There's a large Coy pond running through part of the house and I'm supposed to oversee it now that my dad's not here. Hopefully, I can male the first two months and the Coy won't die from my brutal treatment so that "good" Aerobic Bacteria can grow and provide the Coy with food and "Bad" Disease-causing Anaerobic Bacteria will be replaced by the "Good" Bacteria. Don't ask me what that's supposed ot mean or how that works, I just read it in a book, and I plan to follow it letter to letter... at least for the first day. :P
Also the Gym room is kinda minute compared to what we used to have, and really stuffy. Fortunately, I can still go to ACJC to use the equipment there. Plaus, I am a Founding member :D Don't ask me what that's supposed to do, I have no idea. But I really like the sound of it, Founding member :D, gee, I think I'll say it again, Founding member. Founding member, Founding member, Founding member... Oookay, that's enough, before I get hooked again.
Almost got 2 Glade guards painted, which means they're out, but I haven't gotten round to painting them. Haha, no, actually, I painted they're pants ans the boots, which is pretty much the easiest part.
Also, got around to reading Elminster in Hell, not a bad book. Actually much better than the previous ones I read, even though my friend said it was terrible and he didn't understand what was going on half the time. It was more intellectual than most of the others, requiring skill and patience to unravel the meaning of each page... Not much skill and patience, but enough that even a 5 year-old child could understand it (So go outside and get me a five year-old child, cause I can't understand it --Groucho Marx, No relation to Karl Marx) Apparently, my friend just wasn't patient enough without the blood and gore and the swords flying around and magic blasting large gaping holes in the walls. No giant castles being destroyed, no dragons being hunted, no saving beautiful maidens held captive by mosters too horrible to describe, nothing like that. I guess I can see why he failed to appreciate it.
And finally, I know you all are getting bored with my ramblings, so finally, and I'd like to say, this really is final, as in the paragraph and not the finally, becaue a final finally wouldn't do any good to a sleeping audience, now would it? Neither would it end this paragrapgh anytime soon. So finally, I managed to, amazingly, score 100% for the general knowledge test at siliconhell.com and I got 6 out of 9, for the genius quiz, proving I'm a genius. Yay!
