Blah, Blah, Blah

Sorry for the late update everyone, I keep meaning to add an entry and everytime I almost get around to it, I get lured away by some game or other. Recently, I completed Jedi Knight 3: Jedi academy, which is so much more playable than jedi knight 2, which had you running round in circles lost. Of course, needless to say, I chose and completed the game with the dark side. Thank you, thank you.

I'm also currently into Divine Divinity, a nice game, quite user-friendly, but so much like Diablo!! Ahh... It's like a Neverwinter nights meets Diablo game. It's fun, but it's fighter-friendly. Of course, I picked the wizard. I expect to be going through a LOT of difficulty. Oh well...

Too bad, no issue 2 and 3, apparently you might have to wait a while longer, because lionel misplaced my goggles, didn’t come for training for a long time and Bernie had no idea where it was. So, anyway, I finally got it back and I’ll be trying to get my comic going soon.

By the way, for those of you reading this site, Aquadude now has a site of his own. www.thum.org/aquadude/ problem is, it's got no music, so it might be a little funny at the end of the first issue. Anyhow, I'm planning to burn the first three or more issues on a CD with the christmas one when I'm done with the issues, so it'll be more exciting then.

Meanwhile, Christmas eve was fun, the cousins were over and we had a lot of fun playing games that my bro and I arranged. The first one involved sticking tabs with instructions written on them on someone's forehead and you have to act out in accordance to the instructions till that person guesses it. I got 'I'm flamboyantly gay'. I got 3/4 words in the first minute... and then spent the rest of the time trying to figure out the last. How on earth was I supposed to guess flamboyant?!

The second one, presided by me, was kinda of a musical bingo. Everyone picked 5 numbers from 1 - 30 and when I called a number they had, they would stand up and sing a carol other than jingle bells chosen by them beforehand. In the end, we gave them the choice of singing the chorus or first verse instead of the whole song which would take too much time. Once a person had all 5 numbers called out, he or she came to the front and sang and danced to jinge bells to get the prize. I think I did okay, screwed up a bit on the number calling, but other than that it was more or less fine.

New Year’s Eve was also quite fun; First, I caught scary movie 3 with my brother, Angie, Liane and Cleo --For those of you who haven’t caught it, it’s pretty good— and then, I went out to dinner with my family and a bunch of family friends. Then, at 11:30 or so, my brother and I rushed back from the restaurant and slipped comfortably into bed as the clock reached 11:50+. If it had been up to me, I would have been in bed long ago, after all, staying up on Christmas eve is only to open the presents… right?

So, anyway, I made it to ACJC, and the first day of orientation was not quite what I expected. It was kinda fun, it was kinda boring and it was kinda weird. I was also half asleep much of the time, so I could hallucinating but I swear most of the words said that day were not in English. Our Clan cheer is not in English either, which I know for a fact because they said so. It’s in Jezzulese or something, the language of our clan, Jezzul. My brother thought it was a great idea, ‘cause then they didn’t have to come up with a sensible cheer.

I’ve also been watching a lot of Queer Eye lately. I love the show. Haha… it’s really quite entertaining and informative. I think I’ve learned a lot lately on all 5 aspects. Except, the only skills I’ve been using is mostly in the area of fashion… and grooming, maybe, but not much. After all, a lot of it deals with hair and I don’t have a lot of it.

I’ve also read quite a few good books. ‘A little knowledge’ deals with 80+ perplexing and revolutionary ideas of the West. ‘The Da Vinci Code’, ‘Swahili for the broken-hearted’, ‘How to move Mt. Fuji’ and ‘Eats, shoots and leaves. All of them are very, very good books.

Anyway, that’s all for now, and don’t expect another entry for a while, I’m going to be training a lot. I expect to be tired and grouchy and blog-unfriendly.
