Grand Prix

Grand Prix 3, part I and Olympic Trials

Hmm... didn't quite do as well as I hoped for the IMs. But then, I think it was mainly cause I was under a lot of pressure, from myself mostly, to do well. I got really stressed out on the first day, and I think cause of that, I felt bad on the second day, albeit slighetly less stressed. However, I did do well for the rest of my events, especially the 200 Free.

Ah well, my coach, John, who happens to be reading the blog too (how did he get the address?), says he'll field me for more meets to help me get used to racing and all. Which will probably be a good thing. Live and learn, eh?

Oooh. Good movie!! I personally think it was a great period movie and had a lovely story line. Haha. Didn't personally care so much about the twist in the ending, though. I think it may have been better if they left that part out. For those of you who have seen it and are confused, I'm not talking about the multiple evil boss leaders. So I forgot the name of the bad guys, so sue me. However, great movie, guys. If you have the time, it's a good movie to watch.

Also, on the way back, I had a conversation with the taxi driver about the state of Singapore. Hmm... it seems he believes that the casino should be built in Singapore and that the government should build something really, really impressive so that people from all around the world will flock to it. Also, he suggests that it not only be a casino, but a giant entertainment centre of sorts, so if you get bored of gambling (honestly, is that possible?), you can go enjoy some other form of entertainment. Nothing short of magnificent, he proclaims. Why do anything in a half-past six manner?

Haha... what interests me more is that I've finally encountered a taxi driver who more than grunts and asks for directions. You always hear about taxi drivers who are able to talk about everything under the sun. Well, I finally encountered one! ... yay?

If you're not talking about the multiple bosses, then what twist are you talking about? The random huge tap dancing production number? I loved that. Or the tripping on the rock?
