I declare this bathstall the sovereign land of Lord Bingming!

So, yes, yes, people kept telling me to update. Geez, people. I'm on vacation. Hmph. I don't do this stuff on vacation.

Anyway, people wanting an abbreviated version of what I did in Oxford, here goes.

- went to watch R&J under the stars, that was amazing, it was a local theatre company and they perform shakespeare plays in a park and they make excellent use of the surrounding areas.
- went punting, if you don't know what that is.
- visited the Tate modem, where they were having an Edward Hopper exhibition, which I saw.
- went to the Shakespearen Globe in London to watch an all-women cast put up Much Ado About Nothing. There were nearly no seats left when my bro booked the tickets, so we decided to get Yard tickets i.e. standing in the yard, it's got the best view, but it also means you stand. For 2-1/2 or so hours, with a short break in the middle. My legs were in pain. Terrible pain, by the end of it.
But, hey, the play was fantastic.
- We visited friends who lived there
- played real tennis, also called royal tennis or court tennis, which, unlike lawn tennis, is played indoors and is the original form of tennis.
- visited the London Museum of Natural History.
- acted like a mad fan and chased Harry Potter. Haha, they were filming in the building opposite my bro's dorm room, which is where I stayed.
- listened to Jack Gibbons in the only purpose-built music hall left standing in Europe. That man is absolutely amazing. I can't begin to describe how wonderfully he played, so I shan't. Haha... that and I'm lazy.
- Visited Blenheim Palace, where Winston Churchill was born, among other things and other people. There was an exhibition of John Churchill, too, the lesser known of the two, but just as great in his own right.
- while there, we also visited the hedge maze, second-largest in the world, got lost and found our way out.

There, I updated. Now shoo. :P
