So... a bit late, but nonetheless, I think I'll finally update my blog on the swim trip some time ago. Heh.
The meet was... not so good. The pool was about an hour away from the hotel by bus. Which meant we woke up at 545 in the mornings, left at 630 and arrived at about 8 or so (cause of the usual delays and all) for a meet that started at 830. It also meant our lunch was very short and there was usually little or no rest.
On the first day, I had the fortune of swimming the relay which was the last event. Since the last few events before that had none of our swimmers, the others decided they wanted to go back. Completely abandoning the 4 of us who were swimming the relay. Now, I'm not saying that was a bad decision but it was... very demoralising. Sigh. Haha. We ended up spending the whole day at the pool and got back around 9 or so.
So, that sums up the gist of the meet. Oh well. Won a bronze for the 4 X 100 relay though. Hee. Third in Asia. Sounds very impressive. Haha.
