RIghto. Now that I'm finally up and sorta about after my op, I decided to post an entry after a very, very long hiatus. Alright, so maybe it was longer than that.
For those of you who don't know, presumably a lot, since I preferred not to tell people about my operation, I had one for haemerrhoids about a week and a half ago. It still hurts but nowhere near as bad as it did at the start. And now, I can sit! Oh the joys of sitting! I had very nearly forgotten how delightful you were, my dear friend. I can walk too but that's still over rated. Give me a wheel chair anyday. Heh heh.
I had to attend a course for animal handling yesterday. It allows me to theoretically handle animals for experimental reasons. I believe I still need an institution with a license and a CEO and a whatever. Eh, who knows. Didn't realise they implemented all these laws on animal experimentation several years ago though. Before that, I walked into the lab and cut open mice without any training whatsoever. Course, the director did it without a lot of the standard PPE... Err... Personal Protection... Something. Effects? It's amazing how many laws have been churned out in the short span of time.
Also, a lot of people having talking about the Zidane headbutt. And the italy win. Which I totally did not see. Well, okay, a bit, considering they won it... thrice? But France was going very strong till Zidane headbutted Materazzi. And to tell the truth, I'm not very surprised. After all, his family was insulted. An insult to yourself, sure, fair enough. After all the game is rather brutal. But an insult to someone close to you is uncalled for. And then again on the playing field? "Rivals in the pool, friends on land." There's a reason we always say that at the pool. On the playing field, you're always going to be very aggressive, you have to want it bad enough. I've always had trouble being so aggresive which is one of my bigger failures but I have to say completely understand when it happened. So there, that's my two cents.
