Almost done with the 8 archers. Base-coats are done, most of the paint is on, just have to paint on the second coat for their shirts and I'm done. Yay!
Finally finished collecting In The Shadow Of Dragons. Good series, ending was okay, but the final battle was disappointing. The Origin series also ended, however, can't seen to get Origin 1. Too bad.
Borrowed The Golden Compass under my bro's reccomendation, haven't one too far, but I can see it's actually quite good.
First match of the World Cup is today at 7.30. Oooh, wonder who will win. We have a pot for seeing who can guess the final 16 teams. Guess who I picked? I'm actually trying to get a share in everyone's bet. :P That way, it's impossible for me to lose! Hahahaha! How ingenious, if I do say so myself. Sometimes, I amaze myself with my incredible intelligence. :)
Poor Zhen, has to go for 4 hours of emaths and 4 hours of amaths remedial in school... Mwahahahahaha. That's what you get for flunking both maths. Kinda sad though, so much time spent in school during the hols. Didn't know it'd be so serious if you flunked. Good thing I managed to do okay.
Happy No-smoking day
Whew! Just finished playing Freedom Force. Fantastic game, but a bit tiring towards the end. So, I just created a super-charged character and smashed everything in my path. Good story-line though, although it became painfully obvious towards the end, being based on a typical comic book. Most comic readers shouldn't have trouble divining the plot. El Diablo's my favourite character although he can't aim for nuts! If he could hit half the time, he would've solved all my troubles. Now, look at Microwave, now he can aim! He hits pretty much all of the time, too bad he's probably the second slowest character around. I particualrly like Eve too... :P
Notice almost all the charcters in Freedom Force can be replaced with other characters from Marvel...
Minute Man with Captain America
El Diablo with The Human Torch
The Ant with Ant-Man
Alche-Miss with Scarlet Witch
Man-Bot with Iron-man (?)
Mentor with Professor X or (Doctor Strange maybe?)
Law and Order with Cloak and Dagger (?)
Man 'O' War with Namor
Microwave with Ultron
Any ideas, feel free to leave a comment.
Which Computer Component Are you?

Well, haven't written here in a long time cause I've been really busy. Had a completely filled schedule. Painting, playing, Sleeping, Reading, Swimming, so much to do so little time... :P
Almost finish painting my secong regiment of archers... yay! Along with my musician. Going to start on Glade guards after that. :)
Also, watched Lagaan... haha, fantatstic movie! Had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Wonderful songs too... :P

Which Action Star Are You? Find out @ She's Crafty

Who's Your Movie Sidekick? Find out @ She's Crafty
I went to this funny site and took some quizzes.
The You Quiz
Score:44
Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.
"Let me tell you the most beautiful story I know.
A man was given a dog, which he loved very much.
The dog went with him everywhere,
But the man could not teach it to do anything useful.
The dog would not fetch or point,
It would not race or protect or stand watch.
Instead the dog sat near him and regarded him,
Always with the same inscrutable expression.
‘That’s not a dog, that’s a wolf,’ said the man’s wife.
‘He alone is faithful to me,’ said the man,
And his wife never discussed it with him again.
One day the man took his dog with him into his private airplane.
And as they flew over high winter mountains,
The engines failed
And the airplane was torn to shreds among the trees.
The man lay bleeding,
His belly torn open by blades sheared metal,
Steam rising from his organs in the cold air,
But all he could think of was his faithful dog.
Was he alive? Was he hurt?
Imagine his relief when the dog came padding up
And regarded him with that same steady gaze.
After an hour the dog nosed the man’s gaping abdomen,
Then began pulling out intestines and spleen and liver
And gnawing on them,
All the while studying the man’s face.
‘Thank God,’ said the man.
‘At least one of us will not starve.’ ”

I'm still sick AND I've got to drink this absolutely nauseating chinese herbal drink AND I've got to watch 3, no more, no less, the number I shall watch is 3 and 3 is the number I have to watch! 4 shall I not watch, neither shall I watch 2, excepting that I then proceed to 3. 5 is right out.
Anyway, I took some more tests, that's what you get when I'm sick, and here are the results.

Aww man... so sick. The doctor thinks I got stomach flu or something. Absolutely terrible, I think I'm dying...
Going to watch Star Wars 2 on Saturday with my cousins. Yay! Going to go in a Jedi costume with my bro too, haha.
Getting my results next week, so this week won't be so bad, can still party.
My school swim team is crazy, they've decided to start training in the mornings this week, from 8 to 10.30. Dr. Ong gave the go-ahead. Absolutely crazy. What good is one week of extra training in the MORNING going to benefit them if their not even training seriously? At least train properly in the afternoon, then probably don't even need to train in the morning.

Which of Andrew's Friends are You?
Today is Fred Astaire's 103rd birthday, and so, I'll be deicating today's blog entry to him. All information has been taken from the famed Fred Astaire.net. Fred Astaire (1899-1987), originally Frederick Austerlitz, was born on May 10th in Omaha, Nebraska and died on 22 June in Los Angeles, California. He was and still is, by common consensus, the greatest dancer to ever grace the silver screen, and has been hailed as an American icon, a genius and grace personified.
Fred successfully combined different forms of dancing into a unique, highly artistic, expressive and technically flawless individual style. Admired by ballet dancers and hoofers alike, he broke down barriers between so-called 'high' and 'low' art, refusing to obey artificial boundaries in his constant quest to create beautiful, entertaining dances.
He also revolutionised the art of the movie musical, moving it away from the 'backstage musical' stories and the marching ensemble choreography of Busby Berkeley, to more intimate movies with greater variation in storyline, where the dancing was integral to plot development and advancement. Dancing became more than just entertainment; it instead spoke more about people, places, emotions and thoughts than could be expressed via speech. If a picture speaks a thousand words, then imagine the impact of 24 pictures per second, each profound and deeply moving, accompanied by music.
Behind the camera, Fred also overturned conventional wisdom. His dances spoke strongly for themselves, and so he did away with the cuts, edits, transitions and reaction shots that characterised musical numbers up till then, and showed his dances in continuous shots with little editing.
His great timing and his creative mind also dreamed up numerous special effects that enhanced his dancing, enabling him to express the impossible. Thus, we see him outdancing his own shadows in Swing Time, dancing with an entire chorus of himself in Blue Skies, in perfect timing with live firecrackers in Holiday Inn, with animated shoes in The Barkleys of Broadway, and in midair in The Belle Of New York. In one of his most famous sequences, he defies gravity to dance on the walls and ceiling in Royal Wedding.
Fred Astaire was, however, more than just a dancer. He was a skilled actor, garnering an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in A Supporting Role in The Towering Inferno, winning several Golden Globes, among them Best Actor for Three Little Words, winning numerous Emmy Awards for various television shows and movies (1959's An Evening With Fred Astaire still holds the record for most Emmys for a single show), as well as Academy Awards from many other countries such as Britain and Italy.
He also introduced more standards than probably any other singer, and had many hit singles, including several #1 hits. At one point in 1936, he occupied all three top spots in the list of best selling records!
Fred was also a wonderful songwriter (one composition, "I'm Building Up To An Awful Let Down" reached #4 on the charts), a stylish trend-setting dresser and a best selling author with his autobiography, Steps In Time, which he personally wrote in longhand.
Most of all, he is remembered as a gentleman, with absolute humility, free of airs, and never saw himself as anything more than just a man who made his living dancing. He was, by all accounts, a devoted husband and a wonderful father who kept his private life private and his family out of the intense scrutiny of the public spotlight. Even now, so many years after his death, there has never been even a hint of scandal involving his name, although his decision near the end of his life to marry a woman less than half his age created controversy and dissension within the family. The worst that has ever been said of him was that he was a tireless perfectionist who demanded as much from his co-stars as he did from himself, often reducing them to tears.
Perhaps the most important thing about Fred is his position today, many years after his passing: that of a role model. He was a man born with immense talent, who had an equally immense willingness to work hard to succeed; a man who had the world at his feet but was completely unconscious of his own greatness; one of the most recognisable faces in the world but intensely private and humble; a man who was on first name basis with royalty but whose closest friends were commoners; and a human being, who despite his flaws and failings, through hard work came to epitomise all that is beautiful about the human spirit with style, grace and humanity. For this alone, Fred is worth celebrating.

YES!!! NO MORE EXAMS!!! Whew, finally, after all that time.
Went out with my friends after Exams. Guess who I met? Haha, Joy Tan! After all these years, we still recognise each other, quite amazing...
Went bowling with Ben, Joshua, David, Mike, Ying Qian, Yee Kiat and Janahan first. Haha, needless to say, I came out tops, with a score of 118 on the first round, beating David, 115, and Ben (School Bowler), 112. Second round, I came out first again, heh heh, with a score of 129. My first four frames of the second game were terrible, but the next 5 were pretty good, X X 0/ X 0/. As in, strike, strike, a zero followed by a spare, a strike and another zero followed by a spare.
Went to watch a movie, spider-man. Whole cinema was packed with students, completely students... haha. So, when The Green Goblin lost to Spider-man the first time, everyone was cheering, except me, I was booing Spider-man. Well, who said you can't cheer the bad guys? Besides, The Green Goblin is my third favourite Spider-man villain, next to Kingpin and Doc Oct. Also, I was amused to see that the picture of Unlce Ben was one of him wearing a New York Yankees cap. Of course, there was a guy who I thought was wearing a Boston Red Sox cap, but I'm not very sure. I think it was the guy who shouted,"If you mess with one of us, you're messing with all of us!" When The Green Goblin was attacking Spider-man under the bridge. Still it was a great show, and I absolutely recommend it for those who have not watched it.
And I still think that Gwen Stacey was waaay better than Mary Jane.
Oh, and Happy Fred Day!
1 more day till end of exams. Today was bio and a-maths... Amthas was tough few questions i didn't know how to do. Bio was not so bad, quite easy actually.
Whew! Emaths 2 and Geography today. Not so sure about geography, only had 45 mins. to do the paper... not a lot of time...
Oh well, Bio and a-maths 1 tomorrow, what a terrible day... :P
Just finished tai chi, finally improved slightly!! Yay!! Oh Happy Days!!! :)
Po shen thinks he can get four A1s for chinese?! Chem, emaths and a-maths... haha

AAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Necrons are out!!! So disgusting! They have stats equal to a marine!!! That's so out of this world!! Even though they have a initiative 2, it doesn't count for much, you know why? Becuse they have a freaking 4+ save that regenerates them when they die!!
They also have this big ship thingy that can deep strike anywhere on the board. It's got like a 14 all round armor! And all weapons, even a railgun or Farsight's dawnblade only adds D6 to their rolls because the armor of the ship is supposed to "repair itself like living metal" !!! You need a 6 on your roll for a laser gun to penetrate! 6!!!!! And if it deep strikes you, eery unit around takes D6 str 4 wounds!!! It also allows any unit that goes in to regenerate completely!
They have this new gear that gives them a 3+ invulnerable!!! 3+!!!! Can you believe it! Their general is like toughness 10, str 8!!! One hit with his powerfist will slaughter your guys!
And the necrons only cost about 15 pts more per guy! If they even touch the tau, We'll be slaughtered! Start bringing railguns...
One more thing, flamers are so bad in cityfight, don't bring them at all... they only do D6 wounds no matter what.
Death to Imperials
7 days down!!! Yippee!!!
Chinese was today, quite easy... drank a clarity potion before exams, so the comprehension was no problem. :P
Emaths paper 1 was today. So far, I've finished... Chem, Physics, Emaths 1, English, History, Chinese, Social Studies.
The only subject I'm afraid of is Geog. Bio should be quite okay... Which is weird because everyone seems to hate bio... :S
Sooo bored... I know i should be studying, but I feel like writing, so bear with me. What has happened in the past few days? Hmm... oh, commisioned Zhou to draw a crest I designed for me. It pretty much is a dragon reared over a shield with a scepter and a sword crossed in front. Underneath is the words, "And the Greatest of all is Mercy" On top of the words are a raven on the left and a wolf on the right. You know, companion in life, companion in death. :)
Also started to write a story based on my DnD campaigns with the cousins... which so far, hasn't really been very good. :P It's okay, but not very good compared to professional writers. *sigh* oh well.
Tempest's Gate came to such an anit-climatic ending. We had a party that was hunting down a Fantastc Fire mage who was going to free some great evil and suddenly, one of the parties less outstanding characters shoots her dead with an arrow... After all that build-up, it's got a terrible ending. But I suppose you can't expect much from a 4-part miniseries.
On the bright side, I'm saving up for "The Sentry" Supposedly the greatest ever super hero, he suddenly has to get up and save the world after life has gone downhill for him and everyone seems to be brainwashed to forget him except the Hulk. Looks real interesting. I especially like the fact that they really portray him as an ageing character who's just tired of life and is called to rescue the Earth from harm they can't see.
Ah well, enough said, back to work. :(
I took a street fighter test and look who I got!! The coolest character!!
Whew, three papers down. History today. Fairly easy, first question was source-based, on China, the Long March and the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. Next three were structured, on Lenin and the Bolsheviks, Stalin and russia, and The treaty ov Versailles. Only had to pick one, yay. Picked the third one cause we discussed it in class... haha. Ah well, 7 more days till end of exams.
Happy no pants day everyone. :P
