Yes, it's my first weekend after working at Sembawang camp. The place isn't so bad. The office is nice, small and cosy with not enough room for all the people there, but it's all good. The people are all quite nice. Course, so far, I've only had to do the trainee passes which wasn't so bad in the end. Although I spent a lot of time running around correcting errors and having my soul sucked out by the evil demon of boredom.
Anyway, had a lot of fun on my first weekend out. Covered a lot of lost ground. Mainly sleeping. But I think I covered most of what I lost in the past week. So yay! Got some christmas shopping done, not the best thing to do but necessary, unfortunately. Watched ocean's twelve, which was pretty good, 'cept for the ending, which I didn't like. However, if you watched the first one, then I think most people will be compelled to watch the second. I know it doesn't sound very optimistic but it's not that bad and hey, it could be worse.
Noooo... back to camp tomorrow. *meep*
Right. So. Spent my second day in Sembawang camp getting my soul sucked out by the evil demon of boredom. Although, granted, it's probably better than what the rest of my batch is doing right now. Heh heh heh. -Rolls eyes- Was supposed to type out trainne passes for the new trainees, including me. Only, there are like, 80 of us. So, it took almost all day to do. And it was incredibly boring. But we did it in air-conditioned comfort, so I guess it could have been worse.
Also, we celebreated my bro's birthday today in what was a rather impromptu celebration. Don't have pictures right now as we just took them and they're still downstairs and all. Sang "Happy quarter of a century day to you" to the tune of happy birthday. Wow. It still sounds so old. Heh.
Anyhow, I'd love to type more but I'm going to bed. NS and training is not a good combination, as it turns out. Very, very tiring and I still have to go to work tomorrow.
