A couple of things

Ooh. Found this blog. Which is... amusing enough.

Meanwhile, work has been cut down to 3 days. Yay! With tuesdays off. Which means 5 day weekend! My dream of having 5 days holiday and 2 days of work has come through! Okay, for just this weekend. Hah! But no, I say! 22 May, Vesak Day, Sunday! TWO weekend, not one but two!

Aaaanyway, moving on, I have once more started doing weights in gym. It is either way more tiring than I thought it would be or for some reason, I am very, very unfit and require something like 10 hours of sleep a day once again. Still, gym is fun and it beats swimming all the time. But we'll see what I think in a couple of weeks.

Also upgraded my tungsten OS. Yay! I was wondering when palm would wake up and realise quite a few of the mobile phone programs require some thorough upgrading. It's not perfect. Or remotely close to the Treo series but it's much better. So, for the first time in a year, I'm happy with my tungsten. Now, if I can just get internet access...

Watched the mummy (the wrapped, cursed, undead one that came out some years ago) the other day, finally. My brother saw me watching, walks over and 'casually' asks if I point out all the mistakes in the film. Which, he mentions, his students can now do. Ah, big deal.

Australian Age Groups

Ah. What an eye-opening trip. Now I know what it's like to be the eldest. To have little kids look up to you and hang on to your every word. To be able to command them with a wave of your hand. Mwahahaha. Okay, so I didn't abuse them that much. Just a little. A teeny bit.

Anyway, had quite a bit of fun in Australia. Did alright, didn't do any best times but I wasn't too far off. Although after I came back, I discovered I was... quite unfit. Haha. Oh well, getting back now. Just give me a while.

On the last day of the competition, we went all the way to Gold Coast. Didn't much feel like shopping, so a bunch of the guys bought a frisbee and we played on the beach. Where it was really windy and every time we threw, the frisbee either travelled really far or flew backward. Heh. After that, we buried one of the guys in the sand and... uh... sculpted the sand on top of him. Heh heh.

Also, I had this great idea of buying these really cheap supersoakers we saw and playing aroudn with them. We bought two at first to test them out but we never got around to buying the other two cause of... many, many things that happened. So, in the end, Cong and I settled for calling a team meeting and bursting in blasting everyone. Heh. Yes, it's good being the eldest.

Off we go

Hmm... Off to Australia in a coupla hours. So not looking forward to the midnight flight. Ugh. I hate sleeping on planes. Unlike some small people, I get rather uncomfortable. Hopefully, there'll be internet access there.

Aussie Age Groups

Sigh. I can't believe I'm the oldest member on the team. Older than both team captains and the only one who's 18. Meh. I feel old. The average age must be like... 14. Ugh.

Oh well, I'm looking forward to going there some what. Don't know how the warm up will be, what with there being 130 swimmers. Or more. in 10 lanes. 2 for pace work. This is gonna be a long trip. And it'll definitely be an experience, alright.

Edit: Scratch that... 130? I meant 1300 swimmers. Ouch.

18

Yup. As of Wednesday, I'm now 18. Which means I can drink, smoke, drive (with a license), watch M-18 movies and do all the fun, stupid and stupidly fun things that come with it. Yay. Ah, the joys of being an adult in the eyes of the law.
