What is true happiness? I'm not sure, but I suspect it can be found on a clear, calm day with the sun shining down brightly as you glide along on the back of a water ski, cheered on by your friends and family, with water spraying in your eyes and the memory of your father teaching you how to ski in the back of your mind.

Ming and the rest of the team got back from Penang last night, so Dennis, Mum and I went to the airport to greet them. Ming's 4x100m freestyle relay team had broken the National Under-17 record, so I thought something special was on order. I took a leaf from "The Band Wagon" and prepared a banner, noisemakers, and a flag, and Dennis and I came up with a cheer.

Ming! Ming! Let us sing!
In the pool, he's the king!
And that says everything!
YAY MING!

Who's number one? Ming!
Who's number two? Not Ming!
What is Ming? Number one!
YAY MING!
